Who is she?
Elly White, but many people know me creatively as Elmay. It’s both my artist name and a nickname that feels like me, and it’s stuck as something people remember.
I'm a generalist at heart. I've moved through animation, presentation design, and broadcast graphics, picking up a little of everything along the way. During my internship on Netflix's On Air team, I was pushed to think about product and broadcast in the same breath. That experience is what leds me to specialize in motion design for both.
My why for everything is connection. Not only do I want to connect to people through my work but also through the process. It's important for me to know those I create with, and that always makes our final product better in the end.
Other than moving pixels, you can find me at a local coffee shop that has matcha on the menu or at home catching up on my watch list. I also love to refine my illustration skills or paint with watercolors when I get the chance.
