Who is Elmay?
I’m Elly White, but most people know me as Elmay. It’s both my artist name and a nickname that feels like me, and it’s stuck as something people remember.
After Effects is where I thrive, especially with the puppet tool, which I use to bring illustrations to life with movement and personality.
I’m a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in Motion Media Design with a minor in Illustration. My time at SCAD has sharpened my skills and prepared me to step confidently into the industry.
At the core of my work is connection. Each project reflects who I am, my ideas, interests, and perspective. My hope is that my art can bridge worlds and spark genuine connections with the people who experience it. Not only do I want my work to reach people but I also want my actions too as well. Being on many different team projects has shown me how important it is to connect with those around you. I hope to continue to have the opportunity to work on a team and show my team that I care.
